Franco- Iranian actress, Shady Nafar studies at the Conservatory of Grenoble, then at the Superior Dramatic Art School in Paris (ESAD). She plays under the direction of Thomas Bouvet in Phèdre by Racine, The broken jug by Kleist, John and Mary by Pascal Rambert, Gilian Petrovski in The homosexual or the difficulty to speak by Copi, Gloria Paris in The Lovers by Carlo Goldoni, Maxime Franzetti in a creation between dance and theater Is this how men love ... ?, Elise Marie in The Visionaries by Desmarets de Saint Sorlin, Damien Houssier in Pylade by Pasolini, Laurent Gutmann in his adaptation of The Prince by Machiavel.


Then in parallel she approaches writing and staging. She is Gloria Paris’s assistant director on Divine, an adaptation of Our lady of the flowers by Jean Genet, interpreted by the choreographer and dancer Daniel Larrieu. Later, together they create 2072, a perfomance for ten amateurs.

She co writtes and stages Ballet, then she stages an adaptation of Le bal des folles by Copi with the actor and dancer Martin Junvanon du Vachat.

She writes and stages Let’s hide under this almond tree. She perfoms in with Thomas Fitterer in the Theater of La Loge in Paris and in Avignon’ s Festival.


She is a member of the Director LAB 2015 (Lincoln Center Theater). And she participates at the International Rendezvous for Young Performing Arts Professionals and Critics during the Festival TransAmériques 2017 (Montreal).

Currently she assistes David Geselson for his creation Silence and Fear, and soon she will perform in Three Sister, a creation of Gurshad Shaheman.
