CELESTE VELEDA - argentina

finished her studies as an Actress and Director of Theatre in Performing Arts Film Research Center of Buenos Aires city.

In 2015 she joined the Directors LAB in The LINCOLN CENTER in New York, with fifty international directors.

She directed and wrote the play ¨Liquidó¨, which was performed during 2008/9 in Buenos Aires and Panama, where she also coordinated the International Seminary of Directors at La Quadra Theatre in Panama City.

In 2010 she directed ¨ Two Women¨ written by Javier Daulte, which was presented in Buenos Aires city.

During 2013/14 she wrote and directed  ¨Agua Dulce¨ and it was presented in the ¨Paraguayan House¨ and in the Abasto Social Club in Buenos Aires city, and at the Warehouse Art Santa Fe, and also in ¨Citronave Project¨ in Entre Rios.

Agua Dulce was selected for the International Intimate Theatre Festival of Mexico and was presented in the cities of Merida, Morelia and DF.

Eight years working as theatre Teacher and participating in workshops for students of different schools.

She did work in acting and assistant director in different plays for adults and children in Buenos Aires city, and participates in various short films that were presented at festivals in directing actors and acting.

She worked as an actress and assistant director in the Artist for Kids endorsed by the government of the city of Buenos Aires in the filed of cultural program.

Since 2006 she is part of the producer IDEAS LIQUIDAS, where film and works of film and theatrical experimentation are made.
